American Crisis

The chance for America to survive as in any way  a livable society in the medium term is in my opinion closing up. We must recognize that we are in a grave crisis, but that is only the first step in a journey of a thousand miles. However, it is a vital first step and one we have not yet taken. I hope that  in the next few weeks I will be able to devote a few more posts to the political model with which I take up much of the  slack in time available for posting and reading on this blog. I will nonetheless comment on the Pro Bowl in all likelihood and the Super Bowl almost certainly. Those events take place this Sunday and next.
